Service Description

Integrative Myofascial + Myoskeletal Alignment + Deep Tissue Bodywork blends slow, sustained myofascial release with myoskeletal alignment techniques and focused deep tissue work to unwind long‑held tension, improve posture, and restore efficient movement. By addressing the fascial network, muscle tone, joint play, and the nervous system together, it helps reduce discomfort from overuse and postural strain while increasing flexibility and body awareness. This approach is well-suited for chronic neck, shoulder, and low‑back tension; postural imbalances from desk work or repetitive activity; limited range of motion, stiffness, and muscle adhesions; athletic recovery and movement efficiency; and stress‑related holding patterns and muscular headaches. During a session, you can expect a brief assessment of posture, breathing, and range of motion, followed by slow, sustained myofascial release (with little or no oil), targeted deep tissue strokes, and myoskeletal methods such as muscle energy, pin‑and‑stretch, positional release, and gentle joint mobilization within your comfort. Pressure is firm and precise but never forced, with ongoing check‑ins to keep you in a therapeutic, tolerable range. You’ll also receive simple home care suggestions—such as breathwork, mobility drills, and self‑release—to help the changes last. Sessions typically run 60–90 minutes, and a series of 3–6 visits is often most effective for longer‑term patterns. Mild soreness for 24–48 hours is normal; hydrate, move gently, and avoid very intense workouts the same day. This work is ideal for clients who prefer focused, results‑oriented bodywork. Please inform your therapist of acute injuries, recent surgeries, pregnancy, use of blood thinners, osteoporosis, or neuropathy so the session can be modified or postponed as needed. This work supports, but does not replace, medical care; consult a healthcare provider for new or worsening symptoms. Concise listing blurb: An evidence‑informed blend of myofascial release, myoskeletal alignment, and deep tissue techniques designed to decompress joints, rebalance posture, and free up movement—ideal for persistent tension and postural strain.
